Somewhat-friends-only.  
Hello hello, nice to see you here. Its awesome to know that people read what I write. However, I'll have to warn you that my journal is

75% FRIEND-LOCKED.

That's right, 75% of my posts are generally about my personal life, my disguised-as-philosophical thoughts, memes, and random spurts of interest in photography. However, all my fan-fiction posts are public, so if you're here for that (which is also awesome), you don't really have to friend me for it.
Still, if you're interested in becoming friends or whatever, I'm always more than delighted to meet new people :D So please leave a message, tell me where you "found me", if we have any common interests (most of them are on my profile), or even your love for lemon-flavoured cheesecake.

However, if you want to be my LJ-friend, I'd appreciate if you at very least are able to tolerate my fandoms. I'm probably tolerant of your stuff (as long as none of it is racist, homophobic, or anything of the sort), so I'd really appreciate the same courtesy. That, and that you don't add me just for the sake of another name on your flist, it's not very nice, is it?

Hetalia makes everything better.  
Exams really are quite odd. Its hell to prepare for them, but actually kinda fun to sit for them.
Yes, even those two-and-a-half hour long papers (drama; Ironic that it has the longest single-sitting paper out of them all) consisting of nothing but writing.

I had English papers one and two today, not half bad. I'm relatively happy with the story I cooked up for the essay (stuck to narrative as usual; its the safest bet for someone like me who can't argue to save her life). The prompt was "Promises", and I wrote this story about- Ah. Well. It'd lose its impact if I just say the storyline. Maybe when I get it back, I'll post it. Just for posting's sake :D The situational was pretty alright too, as was the comprehension and summary. Interesting stuff about the nature of life, and Hawking's new book for little kids. George's Key to the Universe.

(Yes, I do realise I'm degenerating into thoughtless ramble.)

There's Social Studies and Chemistry tomorrow. Good god. Stupid MOE. Its more likely that I'd score well for SS rather than Chem (I just really really need a pass. Fear the wrath of Miss Mok), so I'm studying that. Memorizing the Venice chapter now, and its really quite fun. I love Hetalia for all the fun it brings to SS :D (And I will forever remember that the League of Cambrai consisted of major European powers such as Spain, Hungary and France. Yes, their faces are now in my mind. And so is N. Italy's, really. Funfunfun.)

So really, for an exam period (Goodness. Prelims already? Shit.) ... I'm in a relatively good mood, aren't I?

And then they proposed to race.  
(Its 2.40am on a Sunday morning, and I'm up doing work, sitting by the window, listening to the flash of thunder and the rumbles of lightning. I haven't tried, but I'm assuming that sleep won't come. Its fine, I like storms. I love the thunder and lightning, and how they always seem to compete with each other in speed, and yet, somehow, thunder always loses. I like to think that he lets lightning win.)

Isn't it wonderfully mysterious how the things that you admire, wonder about, and find beauty in, are the things which you the most sleep over?
